Why do I blog? What started as one thing evolved into another. Still training myself and training recruits with kettlebells. I am hoping to expose more law enforcement to better strength and resiliency through kettlebell training. At the same time, becoming a better instructor through the POST Master Instructor Development Program. Lead by example, create balance in life and training.

Nice job Pete! How many classes have you helped to train so far?
Thanks, this graduating class is my 12th. I have introduced the kettlebell to them in 2004, but did not do more until 2005, then even more in 2006 when I became an RKC.
Wow! So cool to see and probably leaves you feeling so proud of them and so honored to have taught them!
Congrat's to you and the officers!
Thanks Franz. I am proud of all of them, and very honored to have been a part of their training. It is especially rewarding to see them 6 months or so later when they finish field training, and see how much they have grown beyond their training in the academy.
On a different note, I am in your neck of the woods, but I am seriously cramming to complete my work. I present last! I wanted to stop by to say hello, but I don't think I will be able to. What a bummer.
Cpl Diaz,
Thanks for everything. This website is great. I'll be using it for workout ideas.

Hi Shad,
Thanks for taking a look. Feel free to drop me a line anytime.(pdiaz@pd.cityofsacramento.org) You were a great student, I am sure you'll have a blast in FTO! Be safe out there, your training will definitely pay off.
Pete
Yes, it would have been great to see you Pete. Next time!
